Inefficient toll collection processes, coupled with inadequate traffic management systems, have resulted in delays, higher carbon emissions, and reduced overall travel efficiency. These challenges necessitated the implementation of advanced toll management systems to streamline operations and improve the commuting experience.

Safeway Concessions, a leading infrastructure developer, has partnered with EFKON STRABAG to implement state-of-the-art Toll Management Systems (TMS) across multiple highway sections in Gujarat. This collaboration focuses on integrating advanced technology solutions to enhance toll collection efficiency and traffic management, thereby addressing the critical issues faced by the state’s transportation network.

Toll Management System in Gujarat

Bamanbore Tollway Private Limited manages a 12-lane plaza on NH-8A, Gujarat, stretching from Bamanbore to Garamore (km 182+600 to km 254+537).
Garamore Tollway Private Limited operates a 10-lane plaza on NH-8A, Gujarat, located between Garamore and Samakhiyali (km 254+537 to km 306+000).
Porbandar Jetpur Tollway Private Limited manages a 10-lane plaza on NH-8B, Gujarat, on the Porbandar Jetpur section (km 001+960 to km 117+600).
Another section of the Porbandar Jetpur Tollway Private Limited, also on NH-8B, Gujarat (km 001+960 to km 117+600), has an 8-lane plaza and is currently under operation and maintenance (O&M).
