Business Compliance
The STRABAG Ethics Business Compliance System is a living management system that must continuously improve and adapt to changing circumstances. It consists of the Code of Conduct, the Business Compliance Management System (CBMS) and the Personnel Structure.
The Code of Conduct establishes the fundamental ethical values of the group and contributes to the development of a common value system. Among other things, the BCMS defines Business Compliance goals as well as functions and responsibilities and regulates the handling of suspicious situations. In the annexes the employees are given guidelines regarding.
- Prevention of Corruption and White-Collar Crime
- Business Partner Check
- Antitrust and Competition Law and
- Conflicts of Interest.
A (suspected) violation of Business Compliance rules can be reported to the Business Compliance Organisation through the groupwide STRABAG whistleblower platform. Employees can use the STRABAG whistleblower platform to communicate – anonymously if desired – with the responsible contact person. Third parties such as suppliers and subcontractors can also use the STRABAG whistleblower platform to report suspected violations.
We also expect our suppliers and subcontractors to adhere to the basic principles of fair competition. These basic principles are summarised in the “Supplier Code of Conduct”, which is an essential basis for a cooperation with our suppliers and subcontractors.
